Ps Dino Cicatello

Pastor Dino continued the series Reset and reminded us that God reset the world before by causing it to flood, but now God resets us by extending grace as we are only reset when we are reborn.

Ps Dino explained that there is a distinct difference between a cultural and a reborn Christian, as a cultural Christian agree morally with the teachings of Christ (murder, adultery, justice, hatred) they would however not agree with salvation.

A reborn Christian understands that salvation is not an intellectual agreement but a heart transplant that takes place. As now we are resurrected and that the father does not make us better, he makes us new. Salvation does not add value to an old life, instead it gives new life to where there was no life at all.

3 Steps how to reset our city and our community:

1. We need to see what he sees
   We should receive revelation from Christ as we tend to have sight with no vision. We should train our eyes to see things that are designed to be disguised.
2. We need to hear what he hears
   We suffer from selective hearing syndrome where we lack to hear what God instructs us to do – Exodus 3:7-10, as it’s not what you know but rather what you do with what you know.
3. We need to remember what He has done
   It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching- Romans 2:14, majority of miracles was performed while Jesus was on his way somewhere else.
