We love Kids Church at View Church Tygerberg Hills! That’s why we plan a fun, Jesus-centered, life-giving programme for them that will equip them to be all that they can be in God. At the moment we meet in-person on Sundays and have the curriculum available online for you as parents to help you disciple your kids in the week!
Tiny Town is for kids who can crawl and sit up by themselves. In Tiny Town our kids learn about Jesus through games, songs and a short lesson. They are loved by amazing View Kids Leaders and will make lots of friends!
In Jam City the fun never stops! Jam City is for kids 2 to 5 years old, and they learn about Jesus from their fun leaders, with fun games and songs. They hear a message from the Bible and make a craft that will remind them of the lesson of the day.
Thunder City is for kids who is in the ‘big school’. They will make awesome friends, have praise and worship, play team games and grow in their love for Jesus through Bible stories and crafts.
City Kids is for the older kids, and here they will praise and worship, play interactive team games, while learning about stories from the Bible and learning to follow Jesus with their friends.
FAMILY DISCOVERY TIME
Our View Kids teams love being able to lead the kids and teens of our church. We are privileged to spend time with them and helping them grow in their relationship with God.
But we also know that, as parents and guardians, you have a bigger influence on your kids and teens. And so, over the next few weeks, we are going to provide some material that you can use to discover what God’s Word says for you and your family. Take time each week around the table, read the passage together and spend some time sharing what God is saying through His Word to each of you.

This January we’ll learn that Jesus is the Son of God
At Jesus’ baptism, God declared Jesus His beloved Son. Jesus resisted Satan’s temptations and proved His divine authority. People recognized Jesus’ power and chose to follow Him. Jesus calmed creation and cast out demons with only His words. His words and miracles showed that Jesus was not just a teacher, but truly the Son of God.

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
