Ps Dino Cicatello

We started a new series, Reset based on Revelation 21:5. Ps Dino spoke about how beneficial it is to reset our lives, minds and hearts and the way we approach God and life in order to reset and recalibrate is to realign with God’s will for our lives.

As Christians, one week can lead into the next and as you continue living life, slowly small speedbumps can put you out of alignment and you will need to reset.

He used the analogy of the old Pentium desktop computer and explained how if you had too many tabs open on the desktop you need to hold down 3 buttons such as control, alt and delete to restart, reset or shutdown. The world need to be reset as things that are meant to be lies, are now interpreted as the truth, just as in Genesis 6:5-6. In Genesis we needed a flood, however Ps Dino reminded us of that calvary was a flood of grace, so instead of God flooding the earth with water again, He had already flooded us with His grace.

We are only reset when we are reborn and it’s a healthy consideration to reflect how dead we were in our sin.
