Ready Set Go – Part 3

Sow a Thought

Ps Dino Cicatello

This week Ps Dino continued the series on ready set go, in most contexts, Christians tend to only get ready and set but they hardly ever actually go, as many are in a season of getting ready or getting set, but the enemy of our souls who does not want us to have a flourishing life might not be happy with you going.

The bible says in Matthew 28:19-20, go into all the nations, teaching them what I’ve taught you, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy spirit, so He has already said go, so learn to live life always ready to go and then if God says no/ wait then stop, until then, keep going and trust God with the gospel pumping through your hearts.

In Jonah, we should be more concerned about what happened inside Johan than what had happened in the fish. We get to see how Jonah struggled to obey God’s instructions, the tension between the call of God and the will of man. Jonah 1:1-3, Jonah was sent to tell Nineveh to change their ways, yet he ran away from God. In verse 4-5, Jonah and the ship he was on, was caught in a storm, but instead of panicking like the rest of his crew, he fell asleep.

When we choose our will over God’s will, we sear our minds, so we do not consider the instructions or laws put in place by God before and become desensitised to God’s voice.
