This week Ps Dino continued on the Overflow theme and included 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers” as a prayer over the congregation, that we may prosper in all things, as the word for the church this year is overflow and not forgetting the focus scripture Romans 15:13, while every area in our lives overflow as we prosper.

Ps Dino preached a very practical sermon, titled Private Discipline = Public Fruit, Matthew 6:5-6

The Lord is concerned with what happens behind the scenes – God wants to do a deep personal work so you can show good fruit in public.

External pressures does not create a sinkhole, rather it reveals the hole that was already there as outward pressure can sometimes reveal inward poverty, but as Christians we are not made better, we are made brand new and from the inside out we overflow. God is concerned with what’s happening on the inside.

Overflow in 3 different areas of your life:

Body – natural: seen 144 times in New Testament, sleep is God’s way to heal your body, exercise and diet (1 Corinthians 10:31) temple of Holy spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Soul – relational: 1 Corinthians 6:12, limit social media, decrease anxiety, create boundaries, find friends who speak life into you instead of draining you. Go for counseling, join a View Group, plug the holes as God wants to see you flourish.

Spirit – eternal: Mould your spiritual life to grow in Christ first, revelation of you are in Christ helps you grow, take ownership of your own spiritual life to ensure you are sustained 24/7.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 – beauty in its time – eternity can fit eternity.1 Peter 5:6-7 – can’t limit gods access to our lives.
