Thanksgiving Sunday

We enjoyed thanksgiving Sunday so much this week, remember to take a moment to thank God for everything in your life. Ps Dino said we always have something to say thank you for, we always have access to God, as prayer is just talking to your heavenly father.

We should be eager to thank God in advance, for everything He’s done, will do or is busy doing, as God is alive and He’s always ready to meet with us. One thing to be immensely grateful for is that no matter the lows /negative things (loadshedding, cost of fuel, traffic etc.) on earth, we are still going to heaven!

Lindsay said that saying thank you to God is not just good manners, instead it’s a spiritual practice to give thanks to the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 says we should rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances as it is God’s will for you.

Psalm 13:6 is a statement of conviction as praise is choice. So, I will sing God’s praise because he has been good to me! Praise is a conviction and not just a song and saying thank you should be intentional and a spiritual act so we should thank God daily. The earth is His, and the fullness thereof (Psalm24:1)Everything we have is His, the house, the car, even the air we breathe, every good gift is from God (James 1:17)! Therefore a grateful Christian will always be a powerful Christian!”
