Ps Dino preached on the hands of leadership and that the word leadership might sound like a noun but it’s a verb (a doing word) thus a leader should do something about the state of their world, as Christian leaders are agents of change.
Leadership is doing something with what is in our hands. We might not be able to change everyone’s world, but we can make a difference in someone’s world.

When we look at all the things Jesus did while He was on earth, one significant thing He did was to model and build a community of faith. So often we treat the community of faith as though its just a by product instead of placing the same emphasis as Jesus did on it. A community we can pass on the mission to take forward the Kingdom of God.

We need to treat the community of faith as though it’s the most important to us, by building our lives around the community of faith, as Christianity is a team sport. We need to surround ourselves with people who can push us forward in faith – “Show me your friends, I’ll show you your future”.

There are 4 phases of leadership in parenting:

• Command – you are going to church, for younger children.
• Coach – older children are given options would you like to go early?
• Counsellor – choose the wise thing to do, the decisions you make, makes you.
• Consultant – if you need me, give me a call. You have all the tools.

You will lose influence with your children eventually, make sure that those influencing them have godly influence on them. Luke 6:12-16 -Jesus prayed all night long, always pray about the people you surround yourself with. Acts 4:13 – surround yourself with people who spend time with Jesus. Matthew 10:1 – Jesus gave His disciples authority and shared the same with us, the power to make decisions which can impact someone else’s life.”
