01 Dec An Uncommon King – Part 1
Ps Dino CicatelloPastor Dino Cicatello preached this week, and we started a new series called An Uncommon King. Our base scripture was Luke 17:11-19 and pastor Dino highlighted to us that 80% of the miracles Jesus performed was while He was on His way somewhere else. We should slow down to notice the people placed around us while we are on our way and reach out to them so that they can too experience God’s glory. Pastor Dino also said that we should try to notice others needs rather than our phones, as our personal agendas should cease while we stop and pause so that we can reach others. In doing this, we should be willing, and God will make us able to help others while we consider what the Lord is doing in and around us. We should always cry out to Jesus, even when it feels like nothing is changing or the enemy tells us that God is not listening. The miracle at times only comes when we are obedient to God. After being healed of their leprosy, 9 of the 10 lepers never returned to thank Jesus, only the one Samaritan went back to thank Jesus, we should all reflect the same amount of thankfulness as the Samaritan had to God for all He has done for us. As thankfulness will help us grow in our faith. |
