Hebrews – Part 1

We started a brand new series, based on the book of Hebrews this week (side note: How do we know that God loves coffee? Because He brews!🤣 Thanks Pastor Dino) and it’s very important to study God’s word, as it’s the blueprints to our future.

We can see the world through God’s eyes, by reading and studying the word of God, making it a filter in our lives and removing our opinion as it has to come in under God’s word.

Hebrews describes who God is, how great He is, and that Christianity is how we can fit into God’s story, He can’t fit into our lives, because He is too big!

Ensure that you fix your eyes on God, intentionally and not focus on other anchors such as work, relationships, promotion, etc. As God is the only true anchor.

And lastly, learn to attach your hopes, dreams, marriage, and family to God’s Word, be vigilant. Remember to fix your eyes on Jesus,
“Consider him, who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart”: Hebrews 12:3
